Hi to my futur friends over the big "pound" in Italy.

I was invited to pay you a visit by my friend the "good, baddie, develish,...yeeshaval who is posting with me at the US Ubi site.

I am a french canadian and live in the province of Québec somewhere near Montréal. My main language is french but I am able to use english for most of my postings. I did try the official french site but I do find them a bit too snoby for my taste.

Yeeshaval does describe me as a very "grumpy" old bear, very caustic at time, a bit slow on the uptake. I am a rather old man, 60++++, a full time widower since 1979, live as an hermit since I have retired in 1998.

I bought my first pc ever about two years ago and did learn the little I know now, by crashing it many, many times. (last time was a week ago) . It is the best way to learn faster.


To be frank. I have no idea what I am doing here. Yeeshaval had to use extreme force (arm twisting, whip, handcuffs and...seduction. )

So I will leave you now because you will need the time to get over the "big nanouk shockwave"

Since my english is not too good, I do understand very well how you feel because it is causing me a lot of problems at the US site.

I have to write it rather straight and some people do not like it very much but it is too bad for them because I am not afraid of making mistakes. Like their president would say: if you are not with me, you are againt me.

The guidelines here are the same as the US forum. We are allowed to have sig, but most of us, as you can see don't have them, it's only a matter of choice. And yes, for all I know we can post pictures. The general rule is just to stick on Myst matters on the forum, and, since we don't have an off-topic space, discuss anything else in PM.
But we're not too strict, and we all get along very well and have fun.
Until now, I've never seen here any of the bickering that is often going on at the US forums.
Luckily for us, we're much more peaceful!
