I am to make a list of some very good PC software programs I have been using and testing in the last year. They are all "free"

1- A Registry cleaner that you should be run at least three times in a row the first time you will use it. It is call RegScrubXP...click here

2- AdAware Personnal a free antispyware scanner and removal tool if you use it for personnal application only, can be spyware updated...click here

3- MRU-BLASTER, a tool to cleanup MRU files (very easy to use)...click here

4- Gadwin Print Screen. So far it has been working ok with all my games and relatively easy to use if you check the instructions...click here... (Do not forget to find and define a "not used Hot Key" like F1 or any other F# for easy access while playing a game. It will also add an automatic download folder in your documents)

5- IrfanView, a Photo Editor for WindowsXP only, available in 27 languages, Italian included. (check the IrfanView languages line on the left side of the page)...click here

I'have just taken infrawiev editor; it's simple to use and much light i have also add italian language that make more simple to use.
I want to aks about MRU file: what is it?

When you work on your pc, Windows Eplorer will create many files and leaves traces on your pc about the work you have been doing. It is possible to go in the registry applications to delete them (as an administrator) but it is a very risky business.

MRU means "Most Recently Used" Windows Explorer applications. It seems that some spywares are able to get them and use it for "profiling purpose". So some experts have created an easy program to delete them without danger to your pc.

If you use MRU BLASTER you will be amazed by the amount of traces left on your pc that could be used to get personnal informations about you.

Have you installed any new programs? You might have a conflict caused by one or more processes running in the background. To eliminate conflicts, use Windows Task Manager to close everything except for Explorer.exe, Ctfmon.exe, and whatever your hardware needs.
-- a. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del once and then click on Task Manager.
-- b. Select the Applications tab.
-- c. Click on the desired application to highlight it.
-- d. Click on the End Task button at the bottom of the tab.
-- e. Repeat this procedure until all "unnecessary" applications and processes are closed.
