IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MAC USERS :

If you are deleting the game manually, you must delete the file vpd.properties in the user folder.
The game may not start if you are not deleting this file.

Fix in version 1.01

PC & MAC

Ø Radeon 7000-7500 fixes random square all over spire (workaround around an ATI driver bug).

Ø Timing of the frequency lock puzzle (spire) tweaked to be less time sensitive.

Ø Timing of the Camoudile puzzle is tweaked to be less time sensitive.

Ø Fixes a mismatch when resetting the Camoudile puzzle.

Ø Fixes a random crash when resetting the Camoudile puzzle.

Ø Version number of the game is now displayed on the bottom left of the main menu.

Ø Size of the save game will be lowered after taking a lot of pictures.

PC ONLY

Ø Workaround for the ATI driver bug that was making the game crash on the Radeon 7500 on Windows XP in the second node of the observatory and at random places.

MAC ONLY

Ø Fire offerings are now seen correctly in Serenia.

Ho installato la patch 1.1 con l'update di Myst4.

Ma con mia sorpresa poi il gioco non funzionava più regolarmente.

Ho riprovato più volte e sempre la stessa cosa.

Senza installare la patch il gioco funziona regolarmente.

Qualcuno mi sa dare delucidazioni?

sè il problema è quello ed il gioco funziona bene senza la patch direi di lasciarla da parte.
Il perche questo accade può avere molte risposte
fra le principali ti consiglierei di verificare
i driver della scheda grafica e poi quelli della DirectX meglio che siano al massimo.
Prestando attenzione ad un punto sè non hai installata una scheda ATI potrebbe non servire.
